OceanFree is launched again for another season. She was left last winter in Cleopatra Boatyard in Preveza Greece. Everything was OK when Ego and I flew out to anti-foul and launch her. I had had some work done on the keel over the winter to repair some damage from a grounding last year in shallow water in a Greek port. This was done very effectively by Les Woods (no relation) and the boatyard who co-operated by lifting the boat and holding her in the travel hoist for a few days during a quiet period whilst the bottom of the keel was fibreglassed.

This is a working trip, we have a few jobs to do on the boat and we will do these as we move up the coast. We plan to fly home from Corfu in about a week’s time. Leaving the boat all prepped for the summer cruise up to Croatia.
